To: - All 1st Year Metro students of IT/CSN (Hons) programs attempting the second semester final examinations.

Please click the Examination Hall Arrangement List ( CIT / CSN ) to view your examination location. If your name is not found in the list, You are kindly requested to approach the Student Affairs Division located at 15th floor for clarification on or before 12th Saturday before 10 a.m. Failure to do so shall result in NOT allowing you to sit for your examination. Please treat this notice with due importance.

Dear Students,

Please be informed that the following second year registered students of SLIIT (Hons) program who are yet to submit their Government Advanced Level examination certificate issued by the Department of Examinations are kindly requested to submit a copy to Student Affairs Division at 15^th floor on or before 31^st May 2012 for verification of the Advanced Level results obtained by you.

Failure to do so shall result in NOT permitting you to register for second semester of second year.

Please click the list of second year students who are yet to submit the Advance Level Certificate issued by the government.

Please be informed that all 1^st & 2^nd year students are kindly requested to submit their provisional result sheet issued by the relevant Examination Authority to Student Affairs Division at 15^th floor for verification of your Advanced level results obtained by you. Failure to comply with this request will result in NOT permitting you to register for 2^nd semester of year 1 & 2 respectively. Please disregard this notice if you have already submitted the result sheet.

Reminder Notice

Currently, students who fail in modules are being granted three consecutive opportunities that follow the final semester examination at which they failed the module/s to repeat the same on the basis of their valid semester registration for a current semester, as repeat candidates.

After the expiry of the three consecutive opportunities under reference, any student who has been unable to pass the said module/s is required to follow the module afresh, under pro-rata registration.

Pro-rata registered students are compulsorily required to sit the mid-term examination since the mid-term marks aren’t carried forward after the four opportunities referred to above even in the event of an absence on medical grounds. (ie: 2years of period)

Industrial Working Opportunity

This is great opportunity to participate Information Technology activities in Asian Athletic Competition 2012 (will be held from 12th to 15th June in Colombo with the participation of 24 countries) under the supervision of Mr. Tilak De Silva of SLT.

Duration : From 30th April to 20th June 3rd year and 4th year (week days and weekend students) or those who completed the degree can apply.

Requirements:- Sound knowledge in ASP.NET and SQL Server. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop would be added qualification.
